Heavy-Duty Mailing Tubes 4" x 72

Partners Brand P4072KHD tubes are designed for shipping and storing long, rolled documents. The pack contains twelve kraft tubes, each measuring four inches in diameter and seventy-two inches in length. Plastic end caps are included to secure the contents during transit. They suit offices, warehouses and fulfilment operations that send posters, blueprints or artwork.

Who These Suit and Who Should Look Elsewhere

These tubes suit shippers who need rigid, heavy-duty protection for items up to seventy-two inches long. They are not for users who need adjustable-length containers, smaller diameters for compact prints, or moisture-sealed tubes for archival storage. Buyers sending single sheets or flat envelopes should choose flat mailers instead.

Pack Quantity Twelve

The pack quantity is twelve tubes per box. This single figure determines whether the supply matches your shipping volume. Order multiple packs if your weekly dispatch exceeds twelve units.

Questions about this item

How do I install the end caps on the 4" x 72" tubes, and what step is often missed?

Slide each cap fully onto both ends of the tube until it seats against the inner wall; the step often missed is checking that the cap is flush all the way around so contents cannot slip past the edge.

What maintenance or replacement will the P4072KHD tubes need after repeated shipping cycles?

Inspect the kraft fibre for crush marks or moisture damage after each use; replace any tube that shows softened walls, torn ends or caps that no longer grip tightly.

What limit appears first when the 4" diameter tubes are stacked under sustained load in a warehouse?

The 72" length combined with 4" diameter makes the tube prone to mid-span bowing before the end caps or kraft wall reach their compressive limit.
