Clear 8 x 18 inch poly bags

These flat poly bags measure 8 by 18 inches with a 1.5 mil thickness and come in a clear finish. The 1000 count pack supplies a high volume of lightweight bags for shipping, mailing or general storage tasks. They arrive new and ready for immediate use in a packing station or warehouse.

Single layer protection for flat items

Each bag is a single ply of clear polyethylene so contents stay visible while being shielded from dust and light moisture. The 1.5 mil gauge keeps the material thin enough to fold or stack tightly, freeing shelf space compared with heavier gauges. No adhesive strip or closure is included, so heat sealing, tape or twist ties must be supplied separately.

Consistent performance across the full pack

The uniform 1.5 mil construction means every bag in the 1000 pack handles similar loads without sudden tears during repeated packing cycles. Clear film lets operators verify contents at a glance throughout a shift. California Proposition 65 notices apply to chemicals in the material.

Questions about this item

Will the 1.5 mil thickness hold up when the 1000 bags are used continuously for heavy items?

The 1.5 mil material provides standard protection for light to medium loads; sustained heavy use may cause tearing at stress points.

Do the clear poly bags generate static heat or odor when stored in bulk for all-day operations?

The flat poly construction does not generate heat; a faint plastic scent may be noticeable when opening the 1000 pack initially.

What sealing equipment do I already need to close the 8 x 18 inch openings?

A heat sealer, twist ties, or adhesive tape are required; the bags ship open and unsealed.
