Partners Brand PB3878 Reclosable Poly Bag 1000 pack

This pack supplies one thousand transparent reclosable poly bags measuring eight inches by eight inches with a six mil thickness. The bags are designed for shipping, mailing and general storage tasks where a secure, repeatable seal is required. They arrive new in a bulk quantity suited to high-volume operations.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The product suits businesses, warehouses and home offices that need a large supply of equal-sized bags for packing small parts, documents or lightweight goods. Buyers who require assorted dimensions, heavier gauge material or printed labelling areas will not find those options in this single-specification pack.

Installation ease and common issues

Using the bags is straightforward: place the contents inside, press the interlocking closure together and the seal holds without additional tools. The most common issue occurs when debris or overfilling prevents the zip track from meshing fully, leading to an incomplete seal that can open during transit.

Questions about this item

What size opening do I need on my heat sealer or impulse sealer to close the 8-inch-wide opening of the PB3878 bag?

The PB3878 bag is 8 inches wide, so any sealer must accommodate at least an 8-inch sealing bar to close the top after filling.

Can I stack the 6-mil PB3878 bags on top of lighter 2-mil or 4-mil bags without the thinner bags crushing?

The 6-mil thickness makes the PB3878 stiffer and heavier than 2-mil or 4-mil bags, so place the thinner bags on top to avoid deformation.

How can I verify the reclosable zipper on the PB3878 seals correctly after I fill the bag?

Press the zipper tracks together from one end to the other; a continuous, airtight closure with no gaps confirms the seal is working.
