Reclosable Poly Bags for Bulk Shipping

These transparent poly bags measure 12 inches by 10 inches with a 6 mil thickness. The reclosable seal allows repeated opening and closing without tape. A pack contains 500 bags for high-volume mailing operations.

Lightweight Protection With Minimal Waste

The 6 mil polyethylene construction resists tears and moisture during transit. Thin material keeps dimensional weight low for cost-effective postage. No adhesive residue remains on contents after unpacking.

Transparent Design Simplifies Sorting

Clear walls let staff verify contents instantly without opening each bag. The reclosable track stays aligned after multiple cycles for reliable closure. Bulk quantity reduces reorder frequency for busy mailrooms.

Questions about this item

How do I close the 6 mil reclosable seal on the 12" x 10" bags without leaving a gap?

Press the two tracks together firmly from one end to the other using your thumb and forefinger; the thicker 6 mil material needs even pressure along the full 10-inch width to lock completely.

Will the zip-track on these 10 x 12 inch poly bags wear out if I open and close them daily?

The polyethylene tracks are moulded into the 6 mil film and rated for repeated cycling; they rarely fail unless grit gets trapped in the grooves, so wipe the seal area clean before each closure.

At what point does the 6 mil thickness stop protecting heavy contents during long-term storage?

The 6 mil walls resist punctures up to typical warehouse stacking loads; failure usually appears first as stress-whitening at the bottom corners when the 500-bag pack is used for dense, sharp-edged items over many months.
