Carton Sealing Tape for Heavy-Duty Shipping

The SHURTAPE HP 500 is a clear polypropylene tape designed for hand application in packaging and mailing tasks. It carries a heavy-duty strength rating with a tensile strength of 42 lb/in. Each roll measures 48 mm wide by 55 yd long, and the pack contains 36 rolls for high-volume use.

Build Quality and Everyday Handling

The 3 mil thickness provides a balance of tear resistance and easy unwinding at the packing station. Rubber adhesive bonds quickly to corrugated cartons across a wide temperature range from -20 to 150 degrees F. The clear finish keeps shipping labels and barcodes fully visible after sealing.

Temperature Performance and Shelf Life

The tape maintains its holding power in cold storage down to -20 degrees F and in warm environments up to 150 degrees F. A shelf life of 12 months ensures the adhesive stays reliable across seasonal inventory cycles. Not suited for buyers who need automated machine dispensing or custom printed messaging on the tape.
