Shipping poly bags for long items

These clear reclosable bags measure 6 by 24 inches and come in a pack of 500. They suit warehouses, mailrooms and retailers that need to protect documents, textiles or narrow parts during transit. The zip closure allows repeated opening without tape.

Lightweight protection with minimal bulk

The 4 mm polyethylene film adds negligible weight to shipments while resisting tears and moisture. Bags lie flat in storage and require no heat-sealing equipment, keeping packing stations fast and quiet.

24-inch length for oversize flat goods

The 24 inch dimension accommodates rolled plans, fabric yardage or long hardware that will not fit in standard letter-size mailers. Buyers needing shorter bags or heavier gauge film should select a different size.

Questions about this item

How do I seal the 6 x 24 inch bags and what step do people often miss?

Press the reclosable zipper tracks together firmly along the full 24 inch length; the common mistake is stopping halfway, leaving a gap that lets air or moisture in.

What part of these 4 mm thick bags will wear out first and need replacement?

The reclosable zipper track is the component that degrades with repeated opening and closing; once the interlocking ribs no longer align, the bag cannot seal and must be replaced.

At what point does the 4 mm material reach its limit during sustained heavy loading?

The 4 mm polyethylene will stretch permanently if loaded beyond its tear resistance; once the film yields, the bag cannot return to its original shape and must be discarded.
