Product Identity

Partners Brand PB578 flat poly bags are clear shipping sleeves measuring 16 by 28 inches. They arrive in a 500-count pack for high-volume mailrooms, e-commerce fulfilment or warehouse dispatch. The 2 mil thickness gives a lightweight barrier for non-fragile items. Condition is new.

Critical Specification

The 2 mil gauge is the single figure that determines suitability; it provides basic dust and moisture protection but will not withstand sharp edges or heavy loads. Buyers who need puncture resistance for books, tools or metal parts should select a heavier gauge. California Proposition 65 warnings apply to this product.

Handling Characteristics

The thin polyethylene lays flat and seals quickly with heat or tape, keeping packing lines moving. Minimal material mass means negligible added shipping weight and low storage bulk. No special ventilation or temperature control is required during normal use.

Questions about this item

How much space do the 16 by 28 inch dimensions give for packing items?

The bags measure 16 inches wide by 28 inches long, providing a flat opening large enough for bulky documents, clothing or lightweight parts.

What does the 2 mil thickness mean for puncture resistance and clarity?

At 2 mil the polyethylene is thin enough to stay transparent for barcode scanning yet strong enough for light‑duty shipping and storage.

Will a standard 16 inch impulse sealer close these bags cleanly?

Yes, the 16 inch width matches common tabletop sealers, so you can heat‑seal each bag without trimming or folding the opening.
