28 x 46 inch flat poly bags

These clear polyethylene bags measure 28 inches by 46 inches and have a thickness of 2 mil. They are designed for shipping, mailing and general storage tasks. The pack contains 250 bags, making it suitable for high-volume operations.

Upgrading from smaller or thinner bags

Moving to this larger 28 x 46 inch size allows you to pack bulky items without splitting loads across multiple bags. The step up is worth it when your current bags leave excess material unprotected or require double-bagging for strength.

Capacity and headroom

Each bag holds large, lightweight shipments such as bedding, garments or padded boxes with room to seal the open end. The 2 mil gauge handles moderate loads but will not support heavy or sharp-edged contents that demand a thicker film.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of each PB653 bag so I can confirm my product fits inside?

Each bag measures 28 inches by 46 inches, providing a flat opening large enough for bulky items such as bedding, clothing bundles or large documents.

How do I seal these flat poly bags once they are filled, and what is the common mistake?

The bags have no built-in closure; you must heat-seal, tape or tie the open end. The frequent error is leaving the seal loose, which lets dust or moisture enter during transit.

Will I need to replace these bags after a certain period, and what should I watch for?

The 2 mil polyethylene is single-use; replace any bag that shows tears, stretched seams or clouding from UV exposure to keep contents protected.
