Double Track Poly Bags for Shipping

These clear poly bags use a double-track closure to seal contents securely during transit. Each bag measures 13 by 18 inches with a 4 mil thickness for puncture resistance. The pack contains 500 units suited for high-volume mailrooms and fulfilment operations. They arrive new and ready for immediate packing workflows.

Sustained Use in Fulfilment Lines

The 4 mil polyethylene withstands repeated handling through conveyor systems and sortation equipment without splitting. Double tracks stay aligned after multiple open-and-close cycles during quality checks. Clear film keeps barcodes and address labels readable under warehouse lighting. A 500-count pack reduces reorder frequency for steady dispatch volumes.

Practical Limits of the Closure System

The double-track seal relies on manual pressure and is not heat-sealed or tamper-evident. Bags lack gussets so bulky or rigid items may not fit flat within the 13 by 18 envelope. Polyethylene offers no UV barrier for long-term outdoor storage. Users needing static shielding or vacuum sealing must select a different bag specification.

Questions about this item

How much heat will the 4 mil poly bags generate if I leave the 500-count box sealed in a warm warehouse all day?

The bags themselves produce no heat; they are passive polyethylene film and will simply assume the surrounding temperature.

What dispenser or sealer do I already need to use these 13 x 18 double-track bags straight from the 500-count pack?

The double-track zipper closes by hand pressure, so no heat sealer or dispenser is required.

Can I mix the 500 new 13 x 18 bags with the older stock I already have without the seals sticking together?

Each bag has its own independent double-track closure, so they will not adhere to other bags in storage.
