Product identity

Partners Brand PC85 Top Sheeting is a black polyethylene film supplied in a pack of 250 sheets. Each sheet measures 60 inches by 60 inches with a thickness of 1.5 mil. It is intended for wrapping, covering or protecting items during storage or transit.

Material behaviour

The 1.5 mil thickness provides a lightweight barrier that resists tearing during normal handling. The film adds minimal weight to a load and produces little noise when unrolled or folded. No power or special equipment is required to use the sheets.

Build integration

Sheets are ready to use straight from the pack and need no tools, adhesives or heat equipment. They free up time by eliminating cutting steps and reduce the need for additional wrapping materials. The flat pack stores easily on a shelf or pallet until required.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 60" x 60" top sheeting without tearing the 1.5 mil material?

Unfold each sheet fully on a clean, flat surface before positioning; the 1.5 mil thickness tears easily if dragged across rough edges or sharp corners during placement.

What maintenance or replacement will the black 1.5 mil sheeting need after outdoor exposure?

UV degradation will eventually make the material brittle; replace sheets once they show cracking or loss of opacity, typically after one season of direct sun.

At what point does the 1.5 mil thickness become the limiting factor during sustained wind or rain loads?

The 1.5 mil film will stretch and puncture before the 60" x 60" dimensions fail; expect tearing at stress points like grommets or tiedowns under sustained high wind.
