Purpose & Audience

Partners Brand PT0615 is clear poly tubing designed for packaging operations that need continuous bag lengths cut to order. Warehouses, fulfilment centres and mailrooms use it to wrap irregular items quickly without keeping multiple bag sizes in stock.

Critical Spec

The tubing measures 6 inches wide, 1.5 mil thick and comes on a 2900 foot roll, giving a single specification set that determines whether the material fits the product dimensions and protection level required.

Installation & Pitfalls

The roll mounts on a standard tubing dispenser or a simple spindle so operators can pull, cut and seal each length with a heat sealer. Common issues include static cling causing layers to stick together and the thin 1.5 mil film tearing if snagged on sharp edges during cutting.

Questions about this item

How wide is the 6-inch tubing when I lay it flat on a heat sealer?

The tubing measures 6 inches across, so a sealer with a 6-inch jaw or wider closes the full width in one pass.

What thickness does the 1.5-mil rating actually give me?

At 1.5 mil the film is light-duty; it protects against dust and moisture but will puncture if snagged on sharp edges.

Will the 2900-foot roll fit on a standard desktop dispenser?

A 2900-foot roll of 1.5-mil poly is bulky and heavy; most desktop units only hold short rolls, so a floor-standing dispenser is usually needed.
