9-Inch Clear Poly Tubing

This 9-inch clear poly tubing is a continuous roll of plastic sheeting used to create custom-length bags for shipping, storage or mailroom operations. The material is supplied flat on a single roll so users can cut and seal each bag to the exact length required for the item being packed.

Suited for high-volume packing stations

Operations that pack a wide variety of product sizes benefit from the ability to cut each bag to length rather than stocking multiple pre-made bag sizes. Facilities that only need a few standard bag sizes or that require pre-sealed pouches will find this format less convenient.

725-foot roll length

The roll provides 725 feet of continuous tubing, which determines how many bags can be produced before a new roll is needed. Buyers should verify that this total length matches their expected throughput and storage space.

Questions about this item

What heat-sealer width do I need for the 9-inch lay-flat tubing?

Use a sealer with at least a 9-inch sealing bar so the full width of the tubing closes in one pass.

Will the 6-mil wall handle the same loads as the 4-mil rolls we currently use?

The thicker 6-mil wall gives more puncture resistance, so it can replace 4-mil rolls for heavier or sharper items.

How can I confirm the roll length after I start using it?

The roll is marked at regular intervals; count the marks as you dispense to verify the 725-foot total.
