Partners Brand PT1004 Poly Tubing 10 Inch

Partners Brand PT1004 poly tubing is a clear, 4 mil film supplied on a 1075 foot roll for continuous bagging. It suits warehouses, mailrooms and light manufacturing lines that need custom-length bags from a single roll.

Sustained load behaviour

The tubing maintains consistent seal integrity during high-volume runs on impulse or heat sealers without frequent roll changes. Its 4 mil thickness resists punctures from irregular items while remaining flexible enough for fast dispensing.

Installation and common issues

The roll mounts on standard tubing dispensers or horizontal rods and feeds directly into most tabletop sealers. Misalignment on the dispenser causes edge curling, and excessive heat on thin sections can create weak seals that split under stress.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the PT1004 poly tubing generate when used continuously for packaging?

The tubing is a passive plastic film and produces no heat during dispensing or sealing operations.

What equipment is required to cut and seal the 10-inch wide tubing into individual bags?

A heat sealer or impulse sealer with at least a 10-inch jaw width is needed to close each bag.

Will the 4 mil thickness work with older manual bag sealers that only have a low-temperature element?

The 4 mil film seals reliably on most standard impulse sealers; very low-wattage elements may need longer dwell time.
