24 Inch Poly Tubing Roll

This 24 inch wide poly tubing roll provides 725 feet of continuous black film for custom-length packaging. The 4 mil thickness suits general-purpose wrapping and sealing tasks in shipping departments. Buyers who need pre-made bags or a different width will need another product.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

As a passive packaging material the tubing generates no heat, noise or electrical draw during use. It simply unrolls and cuts to length without any powered equipment. There are no thermal or acoustic characteristics to consider for this supply item.

California Proposition 65 Notice

The product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for exposure to chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. This label informs handling and storage decisions but does not alter the physical performance of the film. No bundled accessories or software are included with this roll.

Questions about this item

How do I cut and seal the 24 inch wide tubing to make custom bags?

Measure the length you need, cut the roll with a sharp utility knife or scissors, then heat-seal both ends with an impulse sealer or a heated wire. The step people miss is leaving enough excess film on each side for a full seal before cutting the next piece.

Will the 4 mil black film degrade if stored for months before use?

Keep the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight; the opaque black colour blocks UV, but prolonged heat can make the polyethylene brittle over time. Inspect for cracks before sealing critical shipments.

At what load does the 4 mil thickness start to tear under constant tension?

The 4 mil wall is rated for light to medium parcels; sustained point loads or sharp edges will puncture it first. Reinforce heavy items with cardboard inserts or switch to a thicker gauge if tears appear.
