SP243120 Strapping Protectors

Partners Brand SP243120 strapping protectors come in a white finish and are supplied as a pack of 770 pieces. Each protector measures 2" x 4" x 3" with a .120 thickness rating. They are designed to shield package edges from strapping tension during transit.

Shippers needing high-volume edge protection

This pack suits warehouses and fulfilment centres that secure many pallets or cartons each day. The 770-count quantity reduces reorder frequency for high-throughput operations. Buyers who only strap a few boxes per month will find the pack size excessive and should look for smaller quantities.

770 protectors per pack

The carton provides enough pieces for hundreds of standard pallet loads, giving ample headroom for peak shipping weeks. Heavy-duty steel strapping on sharp-edged loads may consume protectors faster than lighter polypropylene banding. Very large or irregular shipments that require multiple protectors per corner will deplete the supply more quickly.

Questions about this item

What strapping width and thickness do I need so the 2" x 4" x 3" .120 protectors fit correctly?

These protectors are sized for 2-inch wide strapping that is .120 inches thick, matching the 2" x 4" x 3" internal dimensions.

Can I use these white .120 protectors with older steel strapping I already have on hand?

They are designed for .120 plastic strapping; steel strapping of a different thickness or profile will not seat properly in the 2" x 4" x 3" cavity.

After placing the protectors under the strapping, how do I confirm the 770-count pack is performing as intended?

Check that each protector sits flat against the package corner, distributes tension evenly across the 2-inch width, and shows no cracking or deformation after the strap is tensioned.
