Questions about this item

How wide is the 48-inch roll when unrolled for covering equipment?

The sheeting measures 48 inches across, giving a four-foot width that covers wide surfaces in a single pass.

Does the 4-mil thickness require any special tools or fasteners to secure it in place?

Standard tape, staples or tie-downs hold the 4-mil material; the common mistake is stretching it tight, which can tear the film — leave slight slack.

When should the VCI48500S roll be replaced if used for long-term metal storage?

Replace the roll once the blue tint fades noticeably or after the inhibitor period rated by the manufacturer expires, whichever comes first.
