Patco 3700 Translucent Protection Tape

Patco 3700 is a translucent polypropylene film tape designed for graphics protection on skis, snowboards and outdoor equipment. It also serves as a protective mask during lamination, molding or machining where clean removal is critical. The silicone adhesive provides reliable extreme temperature performance.

Easy Application and Clean Removal

The tape unwinds from a 3 inch diameter core for straightforward manual or machine application. Silicone adhesive bonds securely yet releases cleanly without residue when the job is finished. Embossed film structure helps prevent air bubbles during laydown. Problems arise if surfaces are contaminated with oil or dust before application.

Check Surface Compatibility and Temperature Range

Verify that the substrate tolerates silicone adhesive and the expected service temperatures. Confirm the 1-1/2 inch width suits your masking or protection layout. Ensure the 36 yard roll length matches project consumption to avoid mid-run shortages. The product is not suited for buyers who need a permanent structural bond or conductive shielding.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the tape is holding correctly after I apply it to a ski or snowboard?

Press the tape firmly onto the graphic area; it should adhere smoothly without bubbles and stay in place through temperature extremes and flexing.

What comes in the box and do I need a separate dispenser?

The roll includes the 3700 tape on a 3 inch core; a compatible dispenser or hand-held cutter is not included and must be sourced separately.

Which width and length should I choose for a full snowboard topsheet?

This roll is 1-1/2 inches wide by 36 yards long; select it when you need continuous coverage for long, narrow graphics or multiple smaller pieces.
