60 hanging folders for letter documents

This 60-pack of Pendaflex hanging folders fits standard 8.5 × 11 inch letter paper and comes with 60 clear plastic tabs plus 60 blank label inserts. The reinforced hooks keep folders secure and sliding smoothly in file drawers. Assorted colours — beige, red, blue, yellow, green and orange — let you colour-code by subject or project.

Fits standard cabinets and drawers

The folders are designed for metal file cabinets, desk drawers and file boxes, so they slot into existing office furniture without modification. Reinforced hooks prevent buckling under bulky files, freeing you from folders that sag or jam. Each folder holds up to 50 sheets, keeping documents upright and accessible for daily filing tasks.

Replaces single-colour or expansion folders

If you currently use single-colour folders that make visual sorting difficult, this six-colour set removes that friction. It also replaces 1-inch, 2-inch and 3-inch expansion folders when you do not need extra capacity, giving a slimmer profile for tighter drawer space. The jump is worth it when colour-coding and reinforced hooks matter more than expansion depth.

Questions about this item

How many sheets can each folder hold before the hooks or paper stock give way?

Each folder is rated for up to 50 sheets of letter-size paper before the reinforced hooks or paper stock reach their limit.

Will the polypropylene finish and reinforced hooks stay quiet and cool during all-day filing use?

The folders have no moving parts, motors or electronics, so they produce no noise or heat and draw no power during continuous use.

What existing hardware is required to hang these folders?

They require a standard letter-size filing cabinet, desk drawer or file box with horizontal hanging rails to suspend the reinforced hooks.
