Professional writing instrument

The Pentel EnerGel Deluxe RTX is a retractable liquid gel pen with a 0.7 mm needle tip and blue ink. It comes in a box of twelve units designed for everyday office, school or home use. The hybrid ink formulation merges liquid and gel properties for consistent flow.

Fast-drying ink and smooth output

The liquid gel ink dries quickly to prevent smears and smudges, making it suitable for left-handed writers. Internal testing indicates smoother writing than the leading gel pen on standard paper. Each pen delivers a medium line with reliable performance across extended sessions.

Refillable design with comfortable grip

A latex-free ribbed grip provides control during long writing periods. The retractable mechanism protects the tip when not in use and the metal-accented barrel adds durability. Pens are refillable, reducing waste and allowing continued use of the same barrel.

Questions about this item

Will the 0.7 mm needle tip feel familiar if I usually write with a standard rollerball?

The 0.7 mm needle tip produces a medium line similar to many rollerball pens, and the hybrid liquid-gel ink flows smoothly without the skipping some rollerballs show on cheaper paper.

How can I confirm the RTX retractable mechanism is working correctly after opening the box?

Click the top button; the tip should extend and lock with a crisp snap, and pressing it again retracts the tip fully into the metal-accented barrel.

Does the 12-count box include refills or only the pens themselves?

The box contains twelve complete pens with blue ink installed; refills are sold separately if you want to reuse the metal barrels later.
