Pentel of America, Ltd. EnerGel Stars and Stripes RTX .7mm pen BL77USAA

Patriotic design, smooth ink

This Pentel EnerGel Stars and Stripes RTX pen has a 0.7mm tip and a flag graphic on every barrel. The liquid-gel hybrid ink dries quickly and flows without globs or skips. A retractable mechanism protects the tip when the pen is not in use. The barrel is finished in black with a latex-free ComfortZone grip.

Left- and right-hand writers, refill users

The fast-drying ink suits left-handed writers who need smear-free lines and right-handed writers who want clean notes. Refill compatibility with any EnerGel cartridge makes it a good fit for people who prefer to choose their own ink colour or tip size. Buyers who want a non-retractable capped pen or a metal barrel should look at something else.

Drop-in refill, no tools needed

Installing a new refill is a simple matter of unscrewing the barrel and sliding the cartridge into place. No special tools or alignment steps are required. The only common issue is forgetting to seat the refill fully, which can leave the tip slightly retracted and cause skipping on the first few strokes.
