The Perle S-1110DHP-DSFP is a Hi-PoE media converter that bridges copper and fiber while delivering up to 100W of IEEE 802.3bt power. It targets installers who need to supply high-wattage PoE to remote devices such as PTZ cameras with heaters, LED lighting or 802.11ax/ac wireless access points over extended distances.

Capacity and Headroom

Each RJ45 port supports 10/100/1000Base-T and can power one or two powered devices simultaneously at up to 100W each. The unit handles legacy PoE and PoE+ gear through full backwards compatibility with 802.3af and 802.3at. It does not suit deployments that require more than two powered endpoints per converter or power levels beyond the 100W ceiling.

Interface Limits

Fiber connectivity relies on one or two empty transceiver slots accepting Perle, Cisco or other MSA-compliant modules, so reach and wavelength depend entirely on the chosen transceiver. Copper links are limited to 1000Base-T speeds and standard UTP cabling. The converter cannot operate without a suitable transceiver installed in the SFP port.
