Petra Vericom MBW5U-01441 CAT-5E UTP Solid Riser CMR network ethernet cable 1000ft White

1000ft CAT-5E Riser Cable

This 1000-foot CAT-5E UTP solid copper cable carries a CMR riser rating for in-wall and between-floor runs. It uses four unshielded twisted pairs and a white PVC jacket printed with sequential foot markers. The construction meets UL, ETL, CSA and RoHS requirements for commercial installations.

Swept to 350 GHz bandwidth

Each pair is swept to 350 GHz to support high-speed data communication well above the CAT-5E baseline. Solid conductors maintain consistent impedance over long pulls, reducing attenuation on extended horizontal runs. The CMR jacket resists flame spread in vertical shafts without needing conduit.

Riser rating decides suitability

The CMR classification determines whether this cable satisfies building-code requirements for vertical pathways. Plenum spaces demand CMP instead, so specifiers must match the rating to the installation environment. Outdoor or direct-burial projects require a different jacket material altogether.
