Design and materials

Inspired by the traditional tea ceremony, this Peugeot Bali mill uses cast iron with an orange finish that recalls the warmth of freshly ground spices. Natural wood, stainless steel, aluminium and a ceramic rotor complete the construction. Every model has a distinctive feel that makes each piece unique. The premium material suit kitchen, camping and picnic use.

Grinder and adjustment

The mill is fitted with the Peugeot grinder mechanism, which carries a 25-year warranty. A ceramic grinding mechanism provides an adjustable setting so you can achieve the desired spice fineness. The design allows you to enjoy the freshness of Sichuan pepper harvested at the last moment. No special tools are required for daily operation.

Compatibility check

Verify that you prefer a manual mill rather than an electric alternative. Ensure you are comfortable with a cast iron body that adds weight compared with plastic or acrylic models. Confirm that the orange finish matches your existing kitchen aesthetic. Buyers who want a different colour or a battery-powered grinder should consider other options.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the Peugeot grinder is functioning correctly after the first fill?

Turn the adjustment knob to the desired fineness, add whole peppercorns, and rotate the top; a consistent, even flow of ground pepper indicates the ceramic rotor is working as intended.

What comes in the box and what must I supply myself?

The mill arrives fully assembled with its cast iron body, stainless steel, aluminium, ceramic rotor and natural wood elements; you only need to provide whole peppercorns or other dry spices.

Which version should I choose for a durable, adjustable grind?

The single 35426 Bali FONTE model in cast iron offers the Peugeot grinder with 25-year mechanism coverage and an adjustable ceramic rotor, so no alternative version or capacity is offered.
