Water Sensor Accessory with 10 ft Cord

The Phcc Pro Series PS-WS is a high water sensor accessory designed for liquid level monitoring in janitorial and indoor maintenance settings. It connects to compatible equipment such as the 1APP4 unit using an included float switch bracket and hose clamp for secure installation.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

The sensor operates reliably in liquid temperatures up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit with an ABS plastic housing and float. It uses a 26 AWG cord for low-voltage signal transmission and features no audible alarm, ensuring silent operation during normal use.

Replacement and Upgrade Context

This accessory replaces a failed or missing water sensor on supported pump systems, restoring automatic level detection without adding an alarm function. The upgrade is worthwhile when the existing sensor no longer triggers at the 1/4 inch on or off points or when the original cord length is insufficient.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 10 ft sensor cord and what step is often missed?

Mount the float switch bracket, secure the cord with the included hose clamp, and set the on/off points at 1/4 in — the clamp step is the one most often skipped.

What maintenance or replacement will the water sensor accessory need later?

Inspect the ABS float and 26 AWG cord annually for debris or wear; the manufacturer covers defects for 1 yr, after which the sensor assembly may need replacement.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the water sensor?

The maximum liquid temperature of 104 Degrees F is the first constraint — sustained exposure above that level can degrade the ABS components and affect reliability.
