Phenyx Technology, LLC PTU-1U Wireless Microphone System 1000 Channels 555-580MHz 300-328ft Range

Single-Channel UHF Wireless System

The PTU-1U is a professional handheld wireless microphone system operating on the UHF band between 555 and 580MHz. It offers 1000 selectable frequencies and true diversity circuitry to maintain stable signals in demanding environments. Designed for singers, presenters and production crews working in mid-to large-scale venues, it provides a line-of-sight range of 300 to 328ft. Quick IR synchronisation links the microphone to the receiver instantly.

Rack-Mount Receiver with Antenna Kit

The all-metal single-channel receiver fits a standard 1U rack space and includes an antenna kit with extension cords for front-panel mounting. Auto-scan finds the clearest frequency, while squelch control and a lock function prevent accidental changes during use. A 1/4-inch audio cable connects the balanced output to a mixer or PA system. The package supplies two AA batteries rated for 16 hours of operation and an anti-rolling ring for the handheld transmitter.

Sustained Performance in Live Settings

True diversity reception continuously compares both antenna signals to minimise dropouts during extended performances. The dynamic cartridge is engineered to resist feedback and maintain consistent tonal quality over long sets. Metal construction on both the receiver and microphone withstands the rigours of touring, church worship, weddings and outdoor events. The system supports multi-set operation across its 1000 channels without mutual interference.
