Portable CD and cassette boombox

The Philips AZ328 plays MP3-CDs, standard CDs and CD-R/RW discs alongside cassette tapes. It also reads MP3 and WMA files directly from a USB stick. A 3.5 mm audio input lets you connect phones, tablets or other portable sources for playback through the built-in speakers.

Dynamic Bass Boost and shuffle modes

Dynamic Bass Boost enhances low frequencies at any volume level without distortion. CD shuffle and repeat functions reorder tracks automatically for varied listening sessions. The autostop cassette deck halts the mechanism at tape ends to protect both the tape and the drive.

USB Direct and audio-in connectivity

USB Direct mode plays MP3 and WMA files straight from a flash drive with no computer required. The 3.5 mm audio-in jack provides a simple wired link for any device with a headphone output. No Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or remote control are included.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.5 mm audio-in let me play music from my older phone through the Philips AZ328?

Yes, the 3.5 mm audio-in jack accepts a standard cable from any portable device so you can hear it through the boombox speakers.

How can I confirm the CD section reads my MP3 discs correctly after I set it up?

Insert an MP3-CD or CD-RW; the display will show track numbers and the shuffle or repeat icons will light when those modes are active.

Does the box include a USB flash drive or do I need to supply my own for MP3 playback?

The package contains the boombox, power cord and user manual; a USB flash drive with your music files must be provided separately.
