8 GB recorder with 36-hour battery

The Philips DVT4115 is a voice recorder with 8 GB of internal memory and a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery rated for 36 hours of recording. It captures audio through three microphones: two external stereo elements and one internal mono element. The device connects via USB-C 2.0 and includes Wi-Fi for use with a smartphone app.

Suited for long sessions and remote control

This recorder suits users who need multi-day capture without recharging and who want to control recording from a phone. Buyers who require more than 8 GB of storage or who need a removable memory card should look at other models.

Cardioid and omnidirectional pickup

The microphones offer both cardioid unidirectional and omnidirectional pickup patterns with a frequency response from 50 Hz to 20 kHz. Sample rates range from 22 kHz to 48 kHz and bit-rates from 8 kbps to 320 kbps, determining the audio detail and file size for each recording.
