Philips VoiceTracer DVT1170 128 GB 11 h 360°

The Philips VoiceTracer DVT1170 is a digital voice recorder with 128 GB of built-in flash memory and a 360° microphone for omnidirectional capture. It records uncompressed PCM audio in WAV format for up to 11 hours on a single charge. The device suits students, journalists and professionals who need simple, reliable voice documentation without complex settings.

Sustained recording behaviour

The recorder maintains consistent audio quality throughout extended sessions thanks to its fixed WAV encoding and large internal storage. Predefined audio scenes automatically adjust gain and filtering for memos, meetings or music environments without user intervention. MicroSD support allows storage expansion when the internal 128 GB fills during long projects. One-touch operation prevents accidental stops during continuous use.

Thermals noise and power

The solid-state design produces no fan noise or mechanical vibration during recording, keeping the acoustic footprint minimal. USB connectivity handles both data transfer and charging without a separate power adapter. Low power draw enables the quoted 11-hour runtime from the internal battery. The absence of moving parts ensures silent operation in quiet meeting rooms or interview settings.
