Home Fitness Step Platform

The Philosophy Gym aerobic step is a high-density polyethylene platform built for home cardio and strength routines. It measures 42.5 inches long by 16 inches wide, matching standard health club dimensions. The non-slip, shock-absorbing surface supports users up to 300 lb during high-impact workouts.

Adjustable Height With Four Risers

Four included risers let you set the deck at 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 inches to scale intensity without buying separate equipment. Height changes take seconds, so you can progress from low-impact stepping to advanced plyometrics in the same session. Additional risers are available separately if you need more range.

Sustained Load Durability

The polyethylene construction resists flexing and cracking through repeated daily classes and heavy circuit sets. Shock absorption stays consistent even after hundreds of jumps, protecting joints during long interval blocks. The wide 16-inch deck keeps footing stable when fatigue sets in late in a workout.

Questions about this item

What floor space does the 42.5" by 16" platform need?

The platform measures 42.5 inches long by 16 inches wide, so allow at least that much clear floor area plus room to step on and off safely.

How do the four risers lock into the 4", 6", 8", 10" or 12" height settings?

Each riser nests under the platform; stack one pair for 6 inches, two pairs for 8 inches, add the extra risers to reach 10 or 12 inches, and press until the tabs click securely.

When should the non-slip surface or risers be replaced under a 300 lb load rating?

Replace the platform or risers if the textured top wears smooth, cracks appear in the polyethylene, or the locking tabs no longer hold the selected height firmly.
