Philosophy Gym 7 lb Neoprene Pair

This Philosophy Gym set supplies a pair of 7 lb dumbbells for a 14 lb total. The neoprene coating protects floors and provides a secure, non-slip grip during exercise. Hexagon-shaped heads prevent the weights from rolling away when set down. They suit home users building a light-resistance routine.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Cast-iron cores keep the weight consistent through long circuits without the variance seen in sand-filled alternatives. The neoprene shell resists abrasion from repeated floor contact and sweat exposure. Hexagon heads stay stable during floor-based moves such as renegade rows. The coating does not degrade into sticky residue over time.

Installation and Common Issues

No assembly is required; the pair is ready to use straight from the box. The fixed 7 lb increment limits progression for lifters who need smaller step-ups between sessions. Navy colour can show light chalk dust more visibly than darker shades. Buyers who want adjustable load or heavier single-hand weights will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

How much heat do the 14 lb of cast iron generate during an all-day circuit?

Cast iron itself produces no heat; only your muscles warm up during use.

What flooring or rack do I need so the hexagon heads don't damage the floor?

The neoprene coating protects most surfaces, but a rubber mat adds extra grip and noise reduction.

Will the 7 lb pair fit on the same rack as my older round-head dumbbells?

The flat-sided hexagon heads sit securely on standard dumbbell racks designed for mixed shapes.
