A G1/4-inch brass pressure-relief valve that opens at .3-.4 Bar to protect large liquid-cooling loops from over-pressure, with a 16 mm low-profile body and 4 mm thread length
The Phobya 71142 is a brass pressure relief valve designed for custom water-cooling loops. It features a G1/4 thread with a short 4mm length and a low 16mm profile for versatile placement. An integrated O-ring seal ensures a secure connection at any installation point in the loop.
This valve suits enthusiasts running extensive cooling systems where extreme temperature swings create dangerous pressure spikes beyond standard reservoir capacity. It is not intended for basic loops where a standard reservoir adequately manages pressure differences without extra safety hardware.
The valve activates between 0.3 and 0.4 Bar, equivalent to 4.3 to 5.7 psi, venting excess pressure before components risk damage. This specific trigger point is the critical specification determining whether the valve matches your system safety requirements.

The valve opens automatically when loop pressure reaches 0.3-0.4 bar (4.3-5.7 psi). You can verify function by observing coolant escape from the outlet during a deliberate over-pressure test or by noting that system pressure never exceeds the rated range during normal thermal cycling.
The package contains the brass pressure relief valve with a G1/4" thread, an integrated O-ring seal and a 16 mm low-profile body. You must supply a G1/4" T-piece, reservoir port or other female G1/4" fitting to mount it in the loop.
The 71142 is the single model offered; it releases at 0.3-0.4 bar and fits any G1/4" port with its 4 mm thread length. Choose it when your loop volume and temperature swing create pressures that could exceed component ratings.
