Phoenix 4000EK End Stanchion Kit

The Phoenix 4000EK is a stainless steel end stanchion kit finished in silver. It provides a secure termination point for 1-1/4 inch round hand rails and includes the necessary mounting hardware for installation.

Suited for rail termination projects

This kit suits installers completing a hand rail run with a 1-1/4 inch round profile. It is not for builders who need a straight rail connector or a corner fitting, nor for systems using a different tube diameter.

1-1/4 inch round rail diameter

The single specification that determines fit is the 1-1/4 inch round rail diameter. The stainless steel component matches this size exactly, so verify the tube measurement before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the stainless steel end stanchion heat up in direct sun all day?

Stainless steel absorbs heat in sunlight, so the stanchion will become warm to the touch during prolonged exposure.

What rail diameter must I already have for this 1-1/4 in I.D. kit to fit?

The kit is made for a 1 1/4 in round rail, so that exact diameter must be present on your existing handrail.

Will the included mounting hardware work with older stainless steel rail posts?

The supplied hardware is designed for the 1 1/4 in round rail profile, so it will fasten to older posts of the same diameter and shape.
