10U wall-mount rack for networking and AV gear

The PISKEKAT 10U open-frame rack mounts directly to a wall and provides 10 rack units of space for standard 19-inch equipment. It is built for installers who need a compact, four-post enclosure that keeps patch panels, switches and AV processors organised in a small room or closet.

Two vented shelves and mounting hardware included

Two 1U vented shelves measuring 12.12 inches deep ship with the rack, giving immediate places to set non-rackmount devices such as modems or small NAS units. Twenty-five rack screws are also supplied, so the installer can secure rackmount gear without sourcing extra fasteners.

Open frame aids airflow and eases cable runs

The four-post open structure promotes natural convection around active equipment and leaves all sides accessible for patch cables and power cords. Rated to hold 150 lbs, the frame suits moderate-density deployments, while the 20.24-inch overall depth accommodates hardware up to 19 inches deep.

Questions about this item

Do the included 1U vented shelves ever need replacement?

The two 1U vented shelves are 12.12" deep steel with no moving parts; they do not wear out under normal rack use.

What limits how much equipment I can load before the rack itself becomes the bottleneck?

The wall-mount frame is rated for 150 lb total; exceeding that risks structural failure regardless of shelf capacity.

How much heat builds up inside the 20.24" deep open frame when gear runs 24/7?

The open-frame design and vented shelves allow unrestricted front-to-back airflow, so heat dissipates at the rate your equipment exhausts it.
