12U 19" Wall-Mount Rack

The PISKEKAT 12U enclosure provides 12U of rack space for 19" IT and A/V equipment. It is built from cold-rolled steel with a black powder coating and supports up to 132 lbs. The unit measures 17.72" deep, 23.5" wide and 25.15" high with a 450 mm depth. It can be wall-mounted or used free-standing.

Suitable Installations and Limits

This cabinet suits installers needing a secure, ventilated housing for network switches, patch panels or shallow servers in offices or server rooms. Adjustable vertical rails in 7/8" increments allow flexible equipment positioning. Buyers requiring deeper hardware bays or higher load ratings should look at larger floor-standing enclosures.

Capacity and Headroom

The 12U height accommodates multiple rack-mount devices while the 14.5" usable depth fits standard switches and patch panels. Two built-in fans and a perforated door maintain airflow for typical network loads. Equipment exceeding 14.5" depth or the 132 lb weight limit will not fit securely.

Questions about this item

What 19-inch equipment do I need to already own to fill the 12U of rack space?

Any standard 19-inch IT or A/V gear such as switches, patch panels, or shallow servers that are no deeper than 14.5 inches will mount on the adjustable rails.

Will my existing deeper 19-inch servers fit in the 17.72-inch deep cabinet?

The adjustable rails accept equipment up to 14.5 inches deep, so servers deeper than that will not fit inside this enclosure.

How can I confirm the two built-in fans are moving air through the perforated door after installation?

Power the cabinet and feel airflow exiting the perforated door; the fans should draw cool air in through the vented sides and exhaust it out the front.
