12U Floor Rack with PDU and Shelf

This new 12U server rack ships as a complete kit that includes an eight-outlet power distribution unit and a 1U shelf. It is built from SPCC cold-rolled steel with a black RAL9005 powder-coat finish and rated to hold 500 lbs on leveling feet or 400 lbs on the supplied casters. The four-post open frame suits home labs, offices or small AV installations.

Dual hole-pattern mounting rails

One side of each rail provides round holes for 10-32 screws used by audio gear, while the opposite side provides square holes for M5 and M6 hardware common on 19-inch network equipment. This single feature lets the same rack accept both pro-audio and standard IT devices without extra adapters.

Reinforced vented top and bottom plates

The strengthened top cover supports up to 500 lbs of static weight, so a monitor, console or other peripheral can sit directly on the rack. Ventilation slots in both plates promote continuous airflow through the open frame, helping installed equipment stay cool during extended operation.

Questions about this item

What mounting threads do the square-hole rails use and what screw sizes fit?

The square-hole rails accept standard M5 and M6 cage nuts, so you can secure 19-inch network gear and the supplied shelf with common rack screws.

How wide and deep is the rack, and what clearance do the casters add?

The frame is 19.7 inches wide and 21.7 inches deep; with casters fitted the overall height is 28 inches (709 mm).
