15U Open Frame Server Rack

This 15U open frame rack is built for 19-inch standard equipment such as servers, network switches, AV gear and NAS units. It suits home labs, small offices and media setups that need a movable, floor-standing mount.

19-Inch Standard Mounting Limits

The frame accepts any device built to the 19-inch rack standard up to the rated load. With leveling feet fitted it supports 600 lbs; on the supplied brake casters the safe limit drops to 500 lbs.

600 lb Static Load Rating

The 4-post SPCC cold-rolled steel construction carries 600 lbs when bolted down or on leveling feet, making that figure the deciding factor for heavy multi-device installations.

Questions about this item

Which height should I choose among the 6U, 9U, 12U, 15U, 18U, 22U and 25U versions?

Pick the U height that matches the total rack units your equipment needs; this model is the 15U version giving 33.2 inches of usable vertical space with casters fitted.

What does the 600 lb rating mean once the rack is on leveling feet?

It means the 4-post SPCC steel frame can hold up to 600 lbs of mounted gear when the adjustable leveling feet are used instead of the casters.

What mounting standard do the 19-inch posts follow and what does that limit?

The posts accept 19-inch wide equipment using the included M6 screws and cage nuts, so any device with standard 19-inch rack ears will fit.
