16AWG sleeved extension kit adds 30 cm to ATX, dual EPS and PCIe cables with gold terminals and cable combs
This 30 cm sleeved cable kit extends the main ATX, CPU and GPU power connections inside a server or workstation. It includes one 24-pin ATX cable, two 4+4-pin EPS cables and three 8-to-6+2-pin PCI-E cables. The 16AWG UL1015 conductors carry higher current without overheating. Gold-plated terminals on the GPU connectors resist wear from repeated mating.
The twin EPS cables make this kit a direct fit for dual-processor motherboards that need two independent CPU power feeds. Three PCI-E cables support triple-GPU configurations in render farms or compute nodes. Systems with a single CPU socket and only one or two graphics cards will leave cables unused, adding bulk without benefit.
The 16AWG rating is the single specification that determines whether the extensions can handle the current draw of high-power CPUs and GPUs without voltage drop or heat buildup. If the connected components demand more current than 16AWG is rated for, the cables become a bottleneck and a safety concern.

The kit uses UL1015 16AWG wire with higher copper content to support higher current output and solve the problem of cables getting hot with high-power components.
These extensions must be attached to the existing cables of a modular power supply; they do not replace the PSU cables themselves.
The kit includes two 4+4 pin EPS cables designed for dual-CPU motherboards; on a single-CPU board you would use only one of them.
