19 Inch 1U Cantilever Tray

The PISKEKAT 19 inch 1U cantilever tray mounts directly to standard 19 inch rack posts. It provides a 12 inch (300mm) deep platform for tower units, monitors and other equipment that cannot be rack-mounted directly. The shelf suits installers who need a single fixed shelf in a compact 1U space.

Vented Steel Construction Limits

Cold rolled steel with a powder coated finish resists rust and corrosion while keeping weight low. Slotted venting maximises airflow through the shelf so equipment stays cool. The 50LB weight capacity sets a hard ceiling; heavier devices will need a reinforced or floor-standing alternative.

50LB Capacity and Depth Headroom

The 12 inch depth accommodates shallow towers and compact appliances with room for rear cabling. At 50LB the tray handles most desktop conversions and small monitors comfortably. Loads beyond that limit or deeper chassis will exceed the design envelope and require a different shelf.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 12-inch or 300 mm depth for my 19-inch rack?

Both figures describe the same shelf depth; 12 inches equals 300 mm, so there is only one version to choose.

What does the 50 lb capacity mean once the tray is mounted in a live rack?

It is the maximum static load the cold-rolled steel shelf can hold when fixed to the front 19-inch posts with the supplied M6 hardware.

How does the 1U vented design affect airflow and equipment support?

The slotted vent pattern lets front-to-rear air pass through while the 1U height leaves space above and below for additional rack units.
