19-Inch 2U Rack Drawer with Lock

This 19-inch rack drawer fits a standard 2U bay and provides 13 inches of usable depth. It is built from black powder-coated steel for durability in server cabinets or DJ racks. A keyed lock and two keys secure the contents. The unit ships with rack screws for immediate installation.

Slide Operation and Thermal Profile

The drawer runs on smooth slides that stay quiet during normal opening and closing. Passive steel construction adds no fan noise or active power draw to the rack. Heat dissipation relies on the cabinet's existing airflow. The lock mechanism operates mechanically without electricity.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 19-inch drawer and what step is often missed?

Bolt the unit to the front rack rails using the included screws, then secure the rear brackets to the back rails — many installers forget the rear brackets and the drawer sags.

What maintenance will the lock mechanism need over time?

Lubricate the lock cylinder annually with a dry graphite spray and keep both supplied keys in a safe place; the powder-coated steel body needs only occasional dusting.
