Five-pack 1U vented blank panels

This five-pack of 1U vented blank panels fills unused rack space in server cabinets. Each panel is formed from 1.5 mm thick steel plate with high-density nylon brush bristles. The surface undergoes deoiling, pickling, phosphating and electrostatic spraying for durability. Mounting screws and nuts are included for quick installation.

Suits installers sealing airflow gaps.

These panels suit installers who need to seal airflow gaps while routing cables through brush openings. They reduce dust accumulation and prevent cold air from escaping between devices. Buyers who require solid blank panels without brush cut-outs should look at something else.

1.5 mm steel with nylon brushes

The deciding specification is the 1.5 mm steel construction combined with high-density nylon brushes. This provides a rigid vented barrier that redirects cool air through active equipment while allowing cable passage. The finish resists corrosion for long-term use in network cabinets.

Questions about this item

Does the 1.5 mm steel panel include the brush strip for cable pass-through?

Yes, each vented 1U panel has a high-density nylon brush strip that lets cables through while blocking dust and directing cool air through the rack.

What hardware is required to mount one panel in a standard rack?

Four screws and four cage nuts per panel; the pack includes all screws and nuts so no extra parts are needed.

Which step do installers most often miss when fitting the brush panel?

They forget to orient the brush strip so the bristles face the cable side, which is essential for the dust-seal and airflow control to work.
