Universal 19-inch rack compatibility

This 1U vented shelf fits every standard 19-inch rack or cabinet, accepting IT, network and other equipment without brand restrictions. The stiffener and 1.2 mm thick side rails give a 22-pound load rating that exceeds typical cantilever trays.

Disassembled kit with included hardware

The shelf ships in pieces to protect mounting ears during transit and assembles on-site using the supplied four M6 screws with cage nuts and four M5 screws with nuts. No specialised tools are required beyond a common screwdriver or hex key.

152 mm depth for shallow devices

At 6 inches deep the tray comfortably holds patch panels, small switches, modems and similar shallow gear. It cannot accommodate deeper servers, full-length UPS units or other equipment that exceeds the 152 mm platform.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the shelf is holding the rated 22 pounds without bending after installation?

The 1.2 mm thick holding sides and integrated stiffener keep the tray rigid; if the shelf stays level under load and the mounting ears show no flex, it is performing to its rated capacity.

What hardware comes in the box and what must I supply for a standard 19 inch rack?

Included are 4 M6 screws with cage nuts and 4 M5 screws with nuts; you only need to provide a Phillips screwdriver and ensure the rack posts have square or threaded holes.

Which depth version should I choose for a shallow 1U switch that needs front clearance?

The 6 inch (152 mm) deep, no-lip design is the only version offered; it maximises front clearance while still supporting the 22 pound load rating.
