24-Port Cat6 Patch Panel

This 24-port Cat6 patch panel is built for structured copper cabling in Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet and standard Ethernet networks. It mounts in a server rack or on a wall, giving installers a fixed termination point for up to 24 horizontal runs.

Network installers and small-to-medium IT teams

The panel suits installers who need a dense, rack-mountable termination field for Cat6 or legacy copper cables. It does not suit fibre deployments, shielded cabling requirements, or projects that demand pre-terminated cassette systems.

250 MHz rated Cat6 performance

Each port is specified for a steady 250 MHz bandwidth, matching the Cat6 standard for Gigabit copper links. If the link budget calls for Cat6A or Class EA frequencies, this panel will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

What bandwidth limit appears first when the panel runs at full 250 MHz capacity?

The Cat6 panel is rated for a steady 250 MHz connection, which is the ceiling for Gigabit Ethernet throughput.

Does the patch panel generate any noise, heat or power draw during continuous operation?

It is a passive copper panel with no fans or active components, so it produces no audible noise, negligible heat and draws zero power.

Which punch-down tool is required to terminate cables on this 24-port panel?

The manufacturer specifies the TRENDnet TC-PDT punch-down tool for proper termination.
