Sliding rail kit enables tool-less installation of compatible 2U Dell PowerEdge servers including R510 through R830 models
This sliding rail kit fits 2U Dell PowerEdge models R510, R520, R530, R540, R720, R720XD, R730, R740, R820 and R830. It is a new metal assembly supplied under part numbers 0PWN3, 00PWN3, H4X6X and 0H4X6X. The kit enables smooth insertion and removal of the server chassis from a standard rack cabinet.
The rails mount directly to the rack posts and accept the compatible server without additional brackets. They free up interior rack space by allowing the chassis to slide forward for maintenance. Builders using non-Dell racks or servers outside the listed series will need a different mounting solution.
