Rackmount Chassis with 5.25-Inch Bays

The PISKEKAT 4U chassis fits a standard rack and accepts SSI-CEB, ATX, micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards. Three 5.25-inch drive bays provide space for optical drives or hot-swap modules. A lockable front door adds physical security for shared environments.

Ideal for Legacy Media Installations

This chassis suits builders who need front-access 5.25-inch bays for optical media or specialised front-panel equipment. It is not suited for systems that rely solely on 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drives, nor for builds that require tool-less drive trays or extensive front-panel I/O beyond the single USB 3.1 Gen 1 port.

SSI-CEB Motherboard Support

The case accommodates motherboards up to the SSI-CEB form factor, which determines the maximum board dimensions and mounting-hole pattern. ATX, micro-ATX and Mini-ITX boards also fit. If your board exceeds SSI-CEB dimensions, this chassis will not work.

Questions about this item

Which motherboard form factors does the RM400 chassis support?

The RM400 accommodates SSI-CEB, ATX, micro-ATX and Mini-ITX boards, so you can match the chassis to the board size your build requires.

What does the 5 Gbps USB 3.1 Gen 1 front port deliver in everyday use?

It provides up to 5 Gbps theoretical bandwidth for external drives or peripherals, and falls back to USB 2.0 or 1.1 speeds automatically when older devices are connected.

How does the 160 mm power-supply depth limit affect PSU choice?

Only ATX (PS2) or mini-redundant units 160 mm deep or shorter will fit, so verify the length of any supply before purchasing.
