55 Inch Clamp-On Desk Shelf

The PISKEKAT clamp-on shelf adds a 55-inch-wide upper tier to an existing desk, creating 4.5 square feet of extra surface area. It is built for users who need to raise up to three monitors to eye level while reclaiming the space beneath them. The cherry finish suits home and office environments alike.

Clamp Mount Limited to 1.25 Inch Thick Desks

Two screw clamps secure the unit in seconds without drilling, but they only accept desktop thicknesses up to 1.25 inches. Thicker tops, glass surfaces or sharply profiled edges cannot be clamped safely, so buyers with those desks must choose a different mounting method.

40 Pound Evenly Distributed Load Capacity

The steel support beam holds a maximum of 40 pounds spread across the full width, which typically covers three average monitors. Concentrated weight, heavier ultrawide displays or additional peripherals can exceed this limit and cause instability.

Questions about this item

How do I decide whether the 55 inch cherry clamp shelf is the right width for my desk?

The shelf is 55 inches wide and clamps to desks up to 1.25 inches thick, adding 4.5 square feet of surface area that can hold three monitors weighing up to 40 pounds evenly distributed.

What does the 40 pound weight limit mean when I put three monitors on the shelf?

The 40 pound capacity is rated for evenly distributed load across the 4.5 square foot platform, so three monitors totalling no more than 40 pounds will be supported without wobble thanks to the metal support beam.

How does the clamp attachment limit the desk thickness I can use with this 55 inch riser?

The two clamps accept desk tops up to 1.25 inches thick and require no screws, so any desk within that thickness range can be used without permanent modification.
