Dual-band USB 3.0 Wi-Fi adapter

The PISKEKAT AC1300 connects a desktop or laptop to 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks through a USB 3.0 port. It targets users who need a quick wireless upgrade without opening the case. Windows 7 through 11 and macOS 10.5 to 10.15 are supported. The adapter does not work with Linux, Windows Vista, TV sets or projectors.

Sustained throughput on both bands

Two 5 dBi external antennas maintain signal strength during long downloads or streaming sessions. The 5 GHz link reaches 867 Mbps while the 2.4 GHz link delivers 400 Mbps. USB 3.0 moves data ten times faster than USB 2.0, preventing the bus from becoming a bottleneck under continuous load.

Detachable antennas and Soft AP mode

The antennas screw off for compact storage or repositioning around metal racks. A Soft AP function turns a wired PC into a hotspot for phones or tablets. Driver installation is required before first use; no Bluetooth or additional wireless protocols are included.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the USB 3.0 AC1300 adapter generate when it runs continuously?

The adapter draws power from the USB 3.0 port and its dual 5 dBi antennas, so it stays cool enough for all-day use without extra cooling.

What does my computer need to have for this USB WiFi dongle to work?

A free USB 3.0 port and Windows 7, 8, 10, 11 or macOS 10.5–10.15; Linux, Vista and TV devices are not supported.

Will this AC1300 adapter slow down my older 2.4 GHz router?

It connects at up to 400 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz, so it matches the router's band without reducing its performance.
