Ultra-Quiet Cabinet Cooling

The PISKEKAT AIRPLATE S5 is a UL-certified fan system built for server racks and AV cabinets where low noise is a priority. It delivers 52 CFM of total airflow at only 18 dBa, making it suitable for home theaters, offices, or any environment where acoustic intrusion must be minimised. The unit fits a compact 8.5 x 4.4 x 1.3 in footprint and uses dual ball bearings for long-term reliability.

Multi-Speed Control & Power Options

A dedicated multi-speed controller lets you balance airflow against noise to match the thermal load of your equipment. The system can be powered from a standard wall outlet or a USB port, and the included Turbo Adapter raises performance by 25 percent when extra cooling headroom is needed. This flexibility suits both permanent rack installs and temporary cabinet setups without requiring internal wiring changes.

CNC Aluminium Frame & Limits

The CNC machined aluminium frame with a brushed black finish provides rigid mounting and a clean aesthetic for visible installations. At 52 CFM the system comfortably handles typical AV gear, networking switches, or low-density server loads in enclosed spaces. It will run out of capacity when cooling high-density compute nodes or multiple high-wattage GPUs that demand significantly higher static pressure and airflow volumes.

Questions about this item

How much clearance does the 8.5 x 4.4 x 1.3 in frame need inside a cabinet?

The unit measures 8.5 inches wide, 4.4 inches tall and 1.3 inches deep, so allow at least that much open space plus room for the power cable and the multi-speed controller.

Which power source should I use first, the wall adapter or the USB port, and what does the Turbo Adapter change?

Connect the wall outlet for full 52 CFM output; the USB port powers the fans at reduced speed, while the included Turbo Adapter boosts performance by 25 % when used with the wall supply.

When do the dual-ball bearings typically need replacement?

Dual-ball bearings are rated for long continuous operation; expect service intervals of several years under normal cabinet temperatures, and replace only if noise rises above the specified 18 dBa level.
