Compact EVA Case for USB Optical Drives

This hard-shell carry case fits external USB CD, DVD and Blu-ray writers such as the Apple USB SuperDrive, Dell DW316 and LG GP65NB60. The 6.8 x 6.8 x 1.8 inch exterior and 125 g weight make it suited for mobile professionals who move a single slim drive between locations.

Internal Dimensions Limit Drive Thickness

The interior measures 6.1 x 6.1 x 0.9 inch, so only drives thinner than 0.9 inch will close properly. The elastic band and mesh pocket secure the drive and cables, but the shallow depth excludes bulkier desktop-style burners or any drive with an integrated stand.

0.9 Inch Internal Height Decides Compatibility

That single clearance figure determines whether your specific writer fits. Measure the drive at its thickest point; if it exceeds 0.9 inch the lid will not zip shut and the shock-absorbing EVA liner cannot protect the device.
