Outdoor 5.8 GHz Wireless Bridge

The PISKEKAT CPE450 is a 5.8 GHz outdoor wireless access point built for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint links. It targets installers who need a straightforward bridge between buildings such as shops, barns or garages without configuring a graphical interface.

14 dBi Antenna and 100 Mbps Throughput

A 14 dBi directional antenna provides the gain for links up to three kilometres in clear line of sight. The 100 Mbps Ethernet ports set the practical throughput ceiling, so video surveillance streams run smoothly while heavier data loads will saturate the connection.

Dial Pairing Replaces GUI Configuration

Pairing is handled by a physical dial on the unit, removing the need for web-based setup and reducing deployment time. The jump is worth it when replacing older bridges that require manual IP configuration or when a plug-and-play link is preferred for rapid outdoor installations.

Questions about this item

Will the 5.8G 14dBi bridge link with my existing 100Mbps wired network?

Yes, the unit has two RJ45 LAN ports that operate at 100Mbps, so it connects directly to your current switches or routers without a speed mismatch.

How do I confirm the 450 CPE450 is paired and passing traffic after mounting?

The built-in LED display shows link status and signal strength; a solid link light and steady signal bars mean the point-to-point or point-to-multipoint connection is active and forwarding data.

Does the package include the 24V PoE injector and both mounting brackets, or must I source them separately?

The kit ships with two CPE450 units, a 24V PoE injector and mounting hardware, so no extra power or bracket purchases are required for a standard outdoor installation.
