  • Mounting hardware included for pole installation readiness

Purpose-built directional antenna

The PISKEKAT TP513 is a 17 dBi Yagi antenna for the 2.4 GHz band. It is designed for installers who need to pull a signal from a distant access point or link two fixed locations outdoors.

Mounting hardware and connector impact

The package includes the brackets and fasteners needed for pole installation, but the pole itself is not supplied. An N-Female pigtail connector is attached, so the antenna can be cabled directly to compatible radios without extra adapters.

Weatherproof build and aiming constraints

A rugged, corrosion-resistant enclosure protects the elements for permanent outdoor use. The narrow 25 degree horizontal and 24 degree vertical beam widths mean precise aiming is essential; the antenna will not serve wide-area coverage.

Questions about this item

How often should the N-Female pigtail connector on the TP513 be inspected or replaced?

Inspect the N-Female pigtail connector annually for corrosion or loose fit; replace it if the weatherproof seal degrades or signal loss appears.

What limits the TP513's sustained outdoor performance first?

The 25° horizontal and 24° vertical beamwidth concentrates gain, so precise alignment drift becomes the limiting factor before the 17dBi output drops.

Does the TP513 generate heat or noise when mounted outside all day?

The passive Yagi design has no active components, so it produces no heat or noise during continuous 2.4GHz operation.
